weird weekly

Todays weird weekly star is...Francesco lentini!

Francesco was born in 1889 in Sicily. In fact, he was born with four legs, like Myrtle, but the fourth limb was so poorly developed that it used to be considered three-legged. However, he also had a set of sixteen toes. His third leg is fully working. But more than that, he had two sets of working man's genitals.Parents Francesco, seeing his deformity, handed him over to the care of relatives, his aunt and uncle. He was later transferred to a boarding school for children with disabilities. There he saw the blind, crippled children, and many other, more unfortunate than him. It changed his attitude to life. In his autobiography, Francesco wrote:"Before that, I was miserable. But when I learned that there are children who do not see anything that can not move, I realizedIn 1898, when Francesco was eight years old, his family emigrated with him to America. And he almost immediately became a celebrity there, replacing George Lippert from his post as "the only three-legged man." After Francesco was a child, could not play his third leg tricks in football, and, above all, was very pleasant to talk to. For his outstanding ability, he got the nickname King of the Freaks (or "King of the Freaks" in a more mundane translation) and the "three-legged miracle." People respected him so much that it is often called simply "the King". that my fate is not as bad as I thought.During an interview with reporters Francesco used the third leg as a chair. He could run, walk, jump, ride a horse, bicycle or car. He also knew how to swim. However, he often joked that he has an advantage over conventional swimmers, as it can use a third leg as the steering wheel. "One of the most common questions for Francesco was a question about how he gets the shoes in the right quantities. It usually joked, "I'm taking two ordinary couples, and then give her an extra-legged friend"
His career spanned more than forty years. "Three-legged Miracle" has performed in almost all the major circuses of America. Being married to a young lady named Teresa Murray, he became the father of four children, healthy in all respects. As Myrtle Corbin, he died in a circle of friends and relatives, business proving that the main recipe for happiness lies not in the number of legs and a human head.
